About

We make things, in Brookvale.

Foam cut to size, cushions sewn to fit. The workshop has been on the Northern Beaches since 2001, and the work that comes through it has not really changed: someone has a space, a shape or a broken thing, and needs it made right.

What we do

One workshop, four jobs

Most orders that come through the door are one of four things: a foam insert for a seat that does not exist yet, a cushion for a space that isn't a standard shape, a cover to replace one that has worn out, or a repeat run of something for a business.

We do all four under one roof. That matters more than it sounds — it means the foam and the cover are cut to match, by the same hands, in the same week. Nothing gets sent out and sent back because two suppliers were guessing at each other's measurements.

Capabilities

What you can bring us

01

Read a drawing

Give us a dimensioned sketch, a CAD file, or a sample to copy. We work from all three.

02

Cut to tolerance

Straight, contoured or CNC-routed. ± 2 mm on the work we quote it for.

03

Sew to fit

Covers cut and sewn on the premises — the awkward shapes are the normal job.

04

Advise on material

If a foam grade or a fabric is wrong for the job, we will say so before you pay for it.

Who we work with

Walk-ins and repeat runs

Half our work is someone standing at the counter with a cushion under their arm. The other half is businesses who need the same thing made properly, on a date they can plan around.

  • Homeowners replacing a window seat, bench or sofa insert
  • Interior designers and decorators specifying for a project
  • Venues — hotels, clubs, restaurants, aged care
  • Boat and caravan owners with shapes that aren't rectangular
  • Furniture makers, upholsterers and importers needing components

Come and see the workshop.

It's a working floor, not a showroom — but you're welcome to walk in during opening hours and see what we're set up to do.
